I have a Trek Fuel EX9.9 and it kicks ass. Put the tubless tires and carbon handlebars, crank and stem and got weight down to 23lbs...could go lower with lighter wheels but like to pound without concern...:) Bought it used at Vello Swap...It flat out rocks. Took a while to get used to riding it. You kind of take a beligerant attitude and just point it down rocky trails and it makes the path!!!crazy but cool! Changes the way you ride...Oh yeah, you have to get used to locking out the shocks when your on flats or rolling hills, but it climbs great in both locked out and unlocked for rocky climbs :) Maybe thats the case for all FS bikes...i'm not sure.

Hey
I got in a good ride @ Anglers Ridge this last weekend. And stopped in the Bike Medic shop. It was nice to see riders who enjoyed what I've built. The vid on your home page is of my cedar wall @ Tar River. I think everyone enjoyed the Berm Run too.

Drop me a line and we can talk about what eelse I can build for people.
