"I don't train. I just get anaerobic on the weekends and recover during the week." - Shaun Palmer
Big Mountain Riding is a state of mind. It is more about how you ride your mountain bike than it is about what you ride or where you ride. Big Mountain Riding features epic challenges of distance and of technical trails. Big mountain riders pedal their bikes up the mountain to ride down. They get where they want to go under their own power. Those who try to ride it all on their trail bikes, 29ers, singlespeeds, all mountain rigs and freeride machines are welcome to learn more about our passion. The site features reviews of big mountain riding bikes, gear and trails. You’ll find tips and tricks to improve your own all mountain riding skills. We also post event coverage of some big mountain riding epics in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.
